Currently his heart my voice, as an organization, has been fairly dormant in America for the last year because we have been putting all our effort into launching in Kenya, but as individuals we have not stopped defining ourselves as different in this world of indifference.
 
It is our hope that everyone who has been to one of our conferences, listened to our music, or listened to our encouragement is now passionately living for Christ and for others.
 

We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother in need but shows no compassion — how can God’s love be in that person? 1John 3:16-17

 

Give out of my abundance
I give what I owe to others
but give out of my lack
I give what I want to give

his heart my voice In Kenya

It was natural and somewhat expected that his heart my voice would look different in Kenya as it has in America, but the heart is still the same. Right now we are establishing ourselves as an organization in Kenya, but more importantly we are establishing ourselves as individuals living here for Christ and for others. If the message is still the same, what looks different?

In America we sought out those individuals in need. It was easy to find need, but you had to seek them out. In Kenya the needs are so overwhelming that the needs always come to you. We desire to model to our Kenyan Christian brothers and sisters the life of taking every opportunity to help those around them. We are individuals driven by compassion for needy around us. There is not one day in Kenya that we are not faced with overwhelming needs.

We believe that Jesus is calling his church to take action again and to bring light into the world. This is not a new idea. The vehicle to bring light to the world is the church carrying the message of the gospel and God's heart for social responsibility.
